Cost-per-click (CPC)
Cost per click is the payment provided on each click of the given ad. Suppose for the keywordseo leaders”any visitor is pressing the bar, so that will be the click on the particular ad for which “click” the advertisers have to pay. In other words it is the part of the payment that advertiser pays only when, when visitors click on the particular keyword to see the website or ad. PPC and CPC are some what the similar concepts.

How cost per click is helpful ?
Adwords are displayed according to the bid rates of the advertisers. The ad which is placed on the top of the sponcered links becomes part of interest for the visitors. They click on such ads. And thus adwords pop up in front of them. Thus this one click helps advertisers to popularise their product as well as this one click becomes source of income for search engines.
What is maximum cost per click ?
Advertisers when want to pay maximum amount for their every click is called as maximum pay per click. This trick is implemented by the advertisers’ just to higher up their ad position. Because display of their ad will give them benefit.
CPC and keywords
Advertisers bid for keywords and acordingly their ad are displayed. Now visitors search for keywords. For whichever keyword they are searching for the related list is displayed on the page of the search engine.
According to the matching list vsitor click on the keyword and this way they reach to the ad. This process is cost per click for the keywords.
CPC/PPC as a price comparison or product comparison engine
When visitors search for particular product the link of the different advertiser with their product appear. Here visitors get chance to differentiate the product according to their price. Whichever product they deserve according to their capacity they click on it.
How to decide cost for click ?
In many search engines not only the bidding amount but the quality score for keyword is also important. If your bidding amount is less but your keyword score is good in that case your ad will get higher position in the sponcered links. Sometimes like this also the cost per click is decided.
Duration ofcost per click
Cost per click position is decided mostly according to the quality score of the keywords. If it is found that the quality score of your keyword is going down in that case your position from the sponcered links is dropped and is replaced by some other quality scorer keyword.
